Three earth-built houses of 18 ft × 18 ft, raised on a +2 ft plinth with a 12 ft × 12 ft room and en-suite.
Built with earth walls in the regional idiom, the Mud House stays naturally cool through a Gujarat summer. As drawn, each unit sits on a raised plinth at +2 ft with a 12 ft × 12 ft room, a wardrobe run, a TV unit and a 4 ft × 6 ft en-suite toilet, opening onto the pathway network and the vegetable gardens beyond.
